Rio Tinto is the second largest iron ore producer in the world, and most of our production is in Australia.
In the Pilbara, we operate a world-class, integrated network of 14 iron ore mines, three port facilities, a 1,500 kilometre rail network; and related infrastructure.
We are in the midst of an exciting phase of expansion and growth, lifting our current capacity of 237 million tonnes per annum (Mt/a) to 290 Mt/a. This project will see us increase our Pilbara capacity by more than 20 per cent.
